Our next RISE assembly is next Monday Mar 26 (11:40 AM).

Please take a moment to think about safety.

We want you, as the student body to nominate your fellow students who you feel help make LDH a little safer. SAFETY can mean many things: personal safety, physical safety, emotional safety, online safety, etc…

Meet The Teacher Night THU SEP 28

Here is some information that was posted in the Fri Sep 15, 2017 edition of the Raven’s Nest. Here’s what Intermediate (Grade 7 and 8 students need to know):

Meet the Teacher Night at LDHS (for both intermediate and secondary panels) and the University/ College Information Night will be combined on Thursday, September 28.

6:40 p.m.-6:55 p.m. – “Welcome” in the auditorium for both intermediate and secondary
parents
7:00-8:00 p.m. INTERMEDIATE: Drop-in Format: Parents are invited to visit teachers in their classrooms to hear about expectations and curriculum in the various subject areas. Teacher locations will be posted around the school.

Information from the principal:

The original date for Meet the Teacher Night was this Thursday Sept. 21st. We have to reschedule this event to next Thursday Sept. 28 due to a conflict with a religious holiday. We apologize for any inconvenience. The same formats will be followed and more information will be provided tomorrow.
